Diablo II Resurrected Will Let You Import Original Diablo II Save Files
Dave-CWe added a bit of control to help with things like when you go to your stash in your inventory, you can quickly bind items and move them between your stash and back.
I'm not entirely sure what this means. So like we can bind items to auto store in chest? Like maybe deposit all runes/gems or something?

Just to clarify. Players are able to load their local offline single player saves by copying the save files from the original D2 to D2R. The underlying game engine is the same, so those local saves will work but they will need to be copied over manually. I should note that this will only work with local save files and will not for online or multiplayer characters.
This is due to the fact that modern Battle.net is far different than what we launched with the original Diablo II years ago and because there are other factors such as cross progression with consoles.
And a point worth mentioning again, the original D2 client will remain completely intact and untouched following the release so you can of course still continue to play your older saves on that.
