WoW Client build 3.4.1.46722
Win10 x64
Character creation, character template works, client hard crashes to desktop with assertion failure towards the end of the loading screen when trying to enter the world.

Tried both fresh character creation as well template.

• No AddOns used
• Reset User Settings used
• Scan and Repair used (no repair needed report at the end of it)

The Live Wrath Classic client 3.4.0.46368 works fine on the same PC.

Adding in the assertion failure text to help search engines

It appears I’m not the only one too.
US forums, pretty much tried same workarounds as myself too
(no addons, reset to defaults, scan and repair, make sure windows and gfx drivers are updated, try with elevated priviledges etc)
