Over the past year I have met amazing people through the forums and had some fun times. Like the Brigitte Spaghetti Movement and The Brutal Truth were amazing examples of fun times I’ve had on the forums.

But after a while, the toxicity the forums has shown and the echo chamber it had become hindered my opinion on not just the people on the forums(not any of y’all in the overmoji cafe nor the bastion megathread), but my opinion on the game this forum is based on, Overwatch.

For the past month I was suspended on the forums for copy+pasting the entirety of the Declaration of Independence (something I still find hilarious) because I stopped caring about the forums. Going to the forums felt like a chore to me and I felt I needed an excuse to leave it.

After leaving the forums I started playing the game religiously, I actually loved the game again and any negative opinion I ever had on Overwatch I will always blame it on the forums. Yes, the game is flawed, but every game is flawed and Overwatch is, has and always will be a fun mess.

I may check back to the overmoji cafe and I might continue editing the balance log but I won’t respond to another buff Roadhog thread or any other thread.
