La creación de un revolucionario: un vistazo a fondo a Ramattra con el equipo de diseño de héroes
I come here in hope someone from Blizzard can explain how they are able to create missbalance in D3 in a way that leaves me almost speechless…
I was playing an Inna WOL Monk HC in S19 for starting.
Reason was i never played Inna before.
After some hours i reached ~ GR 85 and things started to become a little slower
bad non ancient gear no augs.-… 7700 mainstat…
I then tried to test the new Set Justice with Tempest Rush…
It was much much better and i immeadiately could play 91 with gear of equal strength to the Inna set.
I was like well its a lot better but i can understand they overbuff it a bit since they want people to play the new Sets…
Then i realized i had still the cube items of WOL from Inna set… while doing 91s…easy…
what the heck…
I changed to correct cube items and did a GR101 on first try.
Dear Blizzard ?
Do you have zero internal testing !
Inna WOL GR 85…
Justice Tempest Rush of equal gear GR 101…
how could this even happen ?
2 Sets with equal gear ~ 16 GR strength difference ???
Good morning!
“Balance Guy” is not drunk at work, i can attest to that.
When we look at specific sets and classes, we feel comfortable if there is a set that can compete and pull ahead of the others in terms of Greater Rift pushes. One build will always have to shine. Thematically, if you enjoy Inna’s, you should be able to play and have fun within the realm of other Inna’s Monks without feeling punished.
If you’re asking for every single piece of gear and set within the game to be exactly the same GR level, with the same power jump point in the season, I think that’s a monumental task and hard to overcome 100% of the time. It comes down to little tweaks over time to get everything in the correct spot and we can take a look at Inna’s again to see if it’s egregiously low.
Thanks for the feedback
FuenteHey again,
With the paragon levels and gear commitment from this particular Barbarian, he’s only +2 GR levels of the expected amount. Looks solid to us.
Thanks for pointing it out.
FuenteSkelos!
This is one of my personal favorites. That would be an awesome addition to D3. Thanks for bringing it up
Fuente100% with you Demonmonger. Same as Skelos stated a bit earlier, this would be awesome and a great addition to the game.
FuenteAfternoon,
The Necromancer in question with GR134, at the paragon level that they’re at is -2 GR from the expected level. Anything within a swing of 1-2 is acceptable to us.
I’m sure once we put out our blog in regards to design in the coming weeks, it’ll all make some more sense to everyone.
FuenteHey Fangskin,
I’m going to leave it up to the design team to dig into it and figure out the best action to take towards Crusaders.
I would assume we would first target macro gameplay that is having unintended side effects on the build, making it do more damage than intended. From there we might take a look at the 2-piece.
Hope this helps for now but we’ll see where we land in the near future.
FuenteHey Farscape -
We’ll take a look in some spare time, see if we can sneak it in for a future patch
FuenteHey,
I haven’t chimed in to this thread in a while but i want to make sure everyone understands.
In the blog post we’ll be presenting, it’ll go over the specifics of how we balance and hopefully answer many questions.
Some have already deduced through multiple threads and replies how we envision our balance.
-
Classes that are 1-2 GRs above or below our projected max GR is good.
-
Classes that are 3-4 GRs above or below our projected max GR is the grey area where we could potentially look at it to make some adjustments. Whether that be through numbers tweaking, items, or whatever other means.
-
Classes that are 5 GRs above or below our projected max GR is not good and we would aim to balance them in the near future.
So, if you’re looking at Crusader…we can all look at them and say, “Good Day! Have your fun for now!”, but…more likely than not, they’ll come down a bit next patch.
FuenteHey SeiTiBeun,
What i recall saying is that it’s difficult to balance every build to the exact same GR level. Some Class Sets will always mathematically be better in some scenarios. We gather data for each set and then strive each season to balance as best to our abilities and time permits. We’ll continue to search through data and make changes as we go. Was there a Class and Set that you particular are fond of that isn’t performing as you seek?
Also, When it comes to 4 mans and the meta, we’re happy that the meta has changed a bit and allowed for different variations.
I’m sure you’ll receive more context in our upcoming blog soon enough.
I truly appreciate you reaching out
FuenteRamattra es muy especial en el mundo de Overwatch, como héroe jugable y como personaje con una historia amplia. Es extraordinario, y por eso mismo nos emociona mucho poder compartirlo con ustedes.
