There isn't going to be much that you can do to get the account back. That is something your Guild Master will need to contact Customer Support for. If you'd like to help, you can direct him to our support website where he can start the recovery process.

You mentioned that the Guild Masters account has been deleted - this would not be possible. What is more likely the case is that during the unauthorized account access, the email address was changed. When your Guild Master tries to login with the original email, they would get an error that no account was found. Technically, this error is correct since the email is different. If that is the case, when your Guild Master goes to open a ticket, there will be an option that says "I don't know my Blizzard account email", and they will want to select that option to continue getting their support request submitted.

Once he has the recovery request submitted, it will go into queue and be assigned to a Game Master who will review the activity and if possible will restore what was removed. The sooner your Guild Master is able to get in touch, the better.

It's complicated, and I really dislike talking in hypotheticals because of how many possible variables there are. Do you want to punish the entire guild because the guild leader made a bad decision? Where did the lost property end up? Those are some of the questions the team would want to consider if this were a result of account sharing.

The reported situation doesn't sound like account sharing though. Changing the email on an account is pretty common during an actual account compromise. But our Game Masters will dig in to find out what was going on.

This is probably as good a place as any to make a PSA though!
