Sorry to ask but why don’t I have all my renown?

I swore I saw that you can claim all the previous renown you had this season? All I had was the first two tiers to claim

The renown rewards are what will carry over, the renown itself does not. If you’ve previously unlocked all of the rewards, you won’t have to repeat those tasks. Those who would like to complete those objectives again are able to do so.

Renown rewards refers to the potions, skill points, paragon points, etc that are awarded for completing the renown. Certain parts of progress, such as Altars of Lilith, certain waypoints, etc, also carry over. The general progress bar that tracks renown (including things such as side quests) does not carry over.
