Hey all, I’m digging into this, and I need a little more information from anyone who is reporting lost Honorable Kills. If you could, please reply to this thread and include the following:

• The name of the affected character.
• The affected character’s current realm.
• Roughly how many HKs you had prepatch and how many you have now.
• If you’ve transferred realms at any point.
  • If you did, was it a free transfer off of Season of Mastery or was it a paid transfer?

I have a few theories that fit the facts in the characters that I’ve checked so far, and I’m trying to narrow it down.

I’d actually already pulled your character based on the forum report and had some odd false positives that indicated that Aisle was from Season of Mastery. O.o

Sadly, all of my theories have been shot down, so I’ll need to dig further. Please keep replying!

It looks like you earned about 16-17k honorable kills after you transferred from Faerlina to Whitemane, would you say that’s correct?

Update: We don’t need any more examples for now. We’ve got several, and we’re looking through various logs now. Thanks all!

Roughly 24 hours ago, we implemented a fix that should prevent this bug from affecting characters who log in thereafter.

For all the characters who were affected before the fix, we’re running a fixup job at this time. Those players should see the correction over the next few hours/days.

Hey all. I completely understand wanting an update on the missing lifetime honorable kills! At this point, though, we’ve restored everything that we can. Unfortunately, due to some pretty fundamental limitations of the game, not all of the data was recoverable in specific, rare circumstances.

I’m so sorry to be the bearer of bad news to anyone still missing lifetime honorable kills.
