Created a clan using real money. Became a shadow and was kicked out of my own clan without any warning.

FuenteHey mrcaruthers, thanks for bringing this up - this is not intended and definitely not OK.
You're not supposed to be able to join the Shadows if you're currently in an Adventurer Clan. Due to a bug you were able to get invited and accept the invite. We're working on a hotfix for this.
Once the hotfix goes live it will prevent the issue going forward. Once that hotfix is live we'll then run a database query to identify everybody who ran into the same situation as you to get the platinum reimbursed to you via in game mail.

What a scummy way to do business, email customer support and get sent to reddit 😂
FuenteThis is affecting numerous people who run into this same situation thus we can do large wide swaths of reimbursements for these issues.
I think the Customer Support representative here was just redirecting people to reddit to post in community discussions as we have chosen to have community discussions on Reddit for Immortal with us partaking here on the Blizzard side while tech and bug related issues can be posted on the forums for Customer Service to elevate to the dev team.
