(Classic) FPS drop when raiding
Hey everyone, I bought a laptop for classic and was hoping it to run well.
It’s a I7 8750H undervolted to 3.9. Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6, 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, 16GB DDR4.
The game runs smoothly and I hit between 100-200 FPS consistently. However when I’m raiding in MC and worse on boss pulls that all changes, the game gets clunky and I drop to 10-20 on pulls, it has dropped as low as 2-6FPS. As a healer this is a nightmare trying to keep targets topped up and it’s completely unplayable.
I have raided with settings on 10 and also at 1 and it still makes no difference. I have checked the battery performance plan and it is always plugged in to the mains power also. All addons are up to date and I have also tried disabling addons mid raid like Details etc but still makes no difference. Windows updates done and latest nvidia drivers installed.
