*Calling all healer Mains*

Pretty much all healers are playable currently, so that's great!

The "top dog" ones are Tyrande, Malfurion and Anduin. Anduin is very easy to play, for Malfurion and Tyrande both you need to get some practice in to really empower their healing mechanic and get use out of your CC.

Uther is a highly underestimated healer who is very well positioned in the meta currently. As always, Divine Shield is disgustingly good. Rehgar is nice as well for his PvE aspects, but I personally think that's an assassin's role and Uther is simply superior in the burst-healer aspect IMO. However, wave clear wins games so if you need a jack-of-all-trades healer, Rehgar is your guy.

Whitemane is probably the hardest healer to play currently, but she can literally carry your games for you. I would not recommend starting out with her, though, because you end up playing a combo-oriented burst-mage-healer with low range and low HP.

Alexstrasza, Morales are very strong on the right maps where you fight linear fights around an objective with limited flanking opportunities. Similarly, Brightwing and Stukov are strong sustain healers but you need to really learn how to use your buttons there, there's a lot of aspects you need to balance for these.

Just over a year ago I wrote a Cleanse Masterguide. It's a little outdated but all the principles mentioned still stand. I ment to update it but after recovering from a broken wrist HGC died and I never bothered.

I play a lot of different supports, but here's some loose thoughts on my top played:

I'm a Li Li main (unashamed) and as long as your positioning game is strong I feel you can get away with her in a lot of comps. If you've got a heavy frontline team, serpent build can be deceptively strong, otherwise, I feel you can run just about any mish-mash of talents with relative success. Hindering Winds at level 4 is almost always a worthy pick.

Anduin is another versatile healer, but again, you gotta be good with positioning. Spend some time mastering his Chastise (E), it's much more powerful than people give it credit for. I have a rule to never EVER pick Lightbomb (R2) in PUG games, but in organized play it's breddy gud. I prefer a Divine Star/Auto-attack build, it seems to be the safest/easiest way to pump out numbers.

I can play a mean Morales, but she's very comp sensitive and, again, very dependent on positioning and general game knowledge. I rarely play her in PUGs because she relies so heavily on her team to keep her safe and because her main way of interacting with the enemy (Grenades) is fairly chaotic. Medivac Dropship is the best/worst ultimate in the game, depending on how many allies you can fly to safety/certain doom.

Rehgar is a solid support, but a bit riskier to play due to being melee. He's a bit weird in that he works well with aggressive dive comps and as an anti-dive tool. Take Blood and Thunder at 7, Earth Shield at 13 and Hunger of the Wolf at 16 and you can put out a surprising amount of damage for a support. Even someone beefy like Muradin gets whittled down by the Lightning Shields and big percentage damage you're pumping out every few seconds.
