D2 LOD B.net patching error

Hello, perhaps someone can assist me. I purchased the D2 and D2 LOD games from Blizzard today and was able to install them. However, when I tried to access Battle.net on LOD I had to dl a patch and I got the error message Patching cannot be completed because the patch archive is corrupt. It listed the File name: D2XP_IX86_1xx_114d.mpq I reinstalled like the prompt suggested but got the same result, has anyone had this happen before? Thank you in advance for any help.
